Supercuts is searching for up to 200 artist ambassadors for the Rock the Cut music campaign: http://rockthecut.supercuts.com/. Rock The Cut allows users to check out hot cuts in music from up-and-coming artists and download them for free. The brand is seeking emerging artists across a variety of genres to add to an already powerful online community of independent talent. This program is being promoted by a large national media campaign and selected artist’s content will be used for one year after official registration.

ARTIST BENEFITS:
  • Free exposure on the Rock The Cut artist network which has featured notable artists including Gold Motel, Laura Bell Bundy, Vintage Trouble and Ken Loi
  • Placement on the Supercuts.com website under the brand’s music and events pages
  • An opportunity to have your music played in over 2,000 Supercuts salons across the country
  • An opportunity to be one of six bands showcased in a Supercuts radio ad featuring a sample of your song and mentioning of your band’s name (these ads may be run nationally).
WHAT DOES IT TAKE TO PARTICIPATE?
  • Participating artists must provide a non-explicit and original song and a bio that will be featured on your artist page
  • Artist page will allow users to stream and download your featured song
  • Participating artists must post on behalf of Supercuts on their social channels once a month

Artists will be notified as soon as the process of accepting applications begins, which will take place no later than February 11, 2013.
